On January 24, 2019, the 3rd International Exchange Activity Reporting Session by Students 2018 was held at the Takamatsu Campus lounge. During the session, students gave presentations on their own international exchange experiences.
The students were:
1. three fifth-year students who participated in the overseas internship training program at a dyeing factory in Thailand; 2. ten students (second-year Regular Course to first-year Advanced Course) participated in the Activity Training in Thailand program; and 3. three second-year Advance Course students dispatched to the Universite Francois-Rabelais Tours, France, through the NITKC Global Engineering Training Program. During the session, the students reported on their experiences from different perspectives such as the research activities held at their respective schools, transportations, sightseeing, and interaction with other students. Dr. Boontida Uapipatanakul of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Thailand (RMUTT) also took part in the session as a guest. Later, NITKC connected with Thailand via a remote video system, and the student participants interacted by exchanging information and students hoping to study in the overseas program asked some questions to the Thai students.
During the second half of the session, a consulting and exchange meeting about international exchange activities was offered. The students asked a variety of questions and exchanged opinions about studying abroad while having delicious Thai food prepared by Dr. Boontida Uapipatanakul and others. This session was a great success and meaningful for the further development of NITKC’s international exchange program.
