Five international students from both campuses exhibited at the "International Students Corner" of the Shikoku District Kosen (National Institution of Technology Colleges) Cultural Festival (Niihama City Civic Culture Center) on Saturday, December 9, 2023.

At the Ehime Institute of Industrial Technology Paper Technology Center, the students toured exhibits related to paper culture and papermaking technology. They took on the challenge of experiencing mizuhiki, a Japanese art form of knotting craft that expresses the thought put into gifts. Although everyone initially struggled, they gradually grasped the knack and perfected the mizuhiki straps of their choice.

The Kosen Cultural Festival and factory tour proved to be fruitful experiences for the students. They strengthened their bonds with international students and students from other colleges and made their day more meaningful.
