On Sunday, August 20, 2023, five students – one 3rd-year, two 4th-years, and two 5th-years – left our school to participate in an English language training program at the Affiliated Language School of Ara Institute of Canterbury in Christchurch, NZ.

The next day, the five students arrived safely at the site after a long flight. They received an orientation on life in New Zealand and homestays and then moved to their host families' homes.

By mid-September, the five NITKC students will have finished their training program and return home more confident when the cherry blossoms bloom in Christchurch.
