On Monday, September 18, five NITKC students finished four weeks of overseas English training at the Affiliated Language School of Ara Institute of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, and returned home safely.

On Mondays to Thursdays, the students took local buses to school, participated in English classes, and engaged in activities such as field trips on Fridays.

On weekends, the students had their host families take them sightseeing and were exposed to different cultures.

With more confidence in their English and life abroad than ever before, the five students received their certificates on the last day of class, concluding a productive four-week training program amid Christchurch's cherry blossoms in full bloom.

This was the first time NITKC students have participated in the overseas English training program in four years. At the on-campus debriefing session at the end of October, the students will share the results of their overseas English training.
